Simple Present Tense

SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE
Simple present tense is used to express an action which is usually done by someone and the end of the action can't be predicted, because it's done daily/anytime. Or more in short is used for rutin activity or fact. 

For third singular person such used as he, she, and it, Verb base + s/es.
The adverb of time used : usually, always, generally , every day, every morning, etc. 
The pattern is : 
  s+ Verb 1 +O/S + to be (is, am, are) +adjective /adverb.
  (+) S + V1 + O
  (-) S + do/does not + V1 +O
  (?) do/does + S + V1 + O

Example :
 (+) every day my brother  feeds his cat
 (-) my brother doesn't feeds his cat every day
 (?) does my brother feeds his cat every day?

b. At the present    d. At the moment

Note : 
Simple present is sometimes used in the main clause to talk about changes and may also apply the structure "it is ...... ,Since....." . Here examples:
  -She looks quite different since her illness.
  -It's a long time since lunch.
Time signal:  every ....., once a week,always,generally,often,usually,sometimes,occasionally,seldom,rarely,never,etc.
